We write our applications using the most up to date version of PHP (PHP 5), as opposed to the outdated PHP 4 which the majority of other developers continue to use. We develop fully object-orientated applications, and PHP 5 brings a highly improved object-model, along with Zend Engine 2.0, which provides you with increased performance, security and scalability. PHP 5 also has increased functionality compared with PHP 4, especially in terms of web services and XML management. Many hosts are discontinuing support for PHP 4 (it is no longer updated by the PHP group) so many scripts written in it will either require a complete update / re-write, or force clients to maintain an outdated version of the PHP language

A tableless / css-based layout offers increased performance and reduced bandwidth. Have you ever visited a site that seems to stall and take forever to load? This is a common problem with table-based layouts. Browsers like Microsoft® Internet Explorer wait for all content inside a table to finish loading before rendering (displaying) the content to the user. This means that your web page can be very slow, and may take a considerable amount of time before displaying anything to the user. And as we all know, visitors aren't going to wait whenever they can browse through another competing site without waiting on sluggly table-based sites to finish rendering. CSS layouts also offer reduced bandwidth, meaning less data has to be transferred for the layout to be displayed, and you can save a considerable amount on server bandwidth costs each month.
